I use organic turbinado sugar here because I like the texture, but if it turns out too rough for you, it is fine to use just regular, finely granulated sugar.
The best honey to use would be Manuka honey but it is pricey, so any other honey will be great. Some honeys are labelled organic but technically it is not possible to label honey organic because no beekeeper really know where the bees got their pollen and nectar from.
Just make sure it is wild, raw honey, in order to get all the benefits of this golden gift from the bees. Honey is a humecant which means it holds on to moisture, thus hydrating the skin. It is also full of Alpha Hydroxy Acids which aid in exfoliation.
Ground Cinnamon, when fresh, will aid in circulation, plumping up the lips. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
Coconut Oil has been prized for centuries for its moisturizing ability, and it is also rich in antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflamatory and generally anti-aging properties.
Sweet Almond Oil is perfect for moisturizing skin, and it also boosts circulation which might help to plump the lips. #lips
